Accessibility and lunch

Rich Goebel Nov 03, 2016 12:06AM EDT

The Job Expos/Fairs are jointly sponsored by the DAV. I am a disabled Vetaran and would like to know why the locations chosen are always a long walk from the closest parking. Norfolk Virginia's Waterside and Virginia Beach's Sandler Center are the locations I am talking about. By the time I get to the sign in table, I'm very tired, and it's hard to be in a positive mood greeting employers when I get there.
Could better locations be considered in the future?
Also, could there be a food vendor on site so job seekers don't have to leave to have lunch?
I mention these after past job fairs, but no changes.

We go to locations where we can get a balance of the most employers for the veterans and veterans for the employers. While sometimes it's not optimum for every individual, it is where we found we can do the best. If the event does not York for you, the best way to get the most accurate alerts is to login to your profile and update your information. You may also find that our job alerts helpful. I encourage you to login to your account here, https://board.recruitmilitary.com/sign_in and take a few minutes to ensure your information is up to date so recruiters can find you directly. Additionally, you can search over 210,000 jobs posted on the site, and you can set-up search agents that deliver new jobs to you each day that would fit what you're interested in as companies post new jobs. Here's a link to a description of the job alerts, http://rmvets.com/jobsforme
